Painting Preparation

Thanks to Hurricane Isabel, our painting contractor's outside jobs were postponed, so he could begin our prep work.

Here, the wallpaper has been stripped from the galley kitchen and hallway.

Paper has been stripped from part of the hallway.

The entry hall with and without wallpaper.

What a contrast!

The parlor looks so different without the blue wallpaper!
We'll pick up some of the color from the stained glass window with
Concord Ivory from Benjamin Moore's "Historical Colors" collection

Remodeling Update:

    • Vinyl Flooring -- allegedly shipped today.

    • We've arranged to have the kitchen painted first (Windham Cream) so the floor can be installed soon after it arrives.
