Painting Preparation - Part Three

Eric is moving into his den!

Since it's already Steelers gold, we're not changing it.

He started bringing albums and CDs over this morning.

Tom, our painter, is repairing the water damage in the guest bedroom.

That's a roll of fiberglass mesh in the lower part of the frame.

The bookshelves in the library have been dismantled in preparation for painting.

Could this be a first coat of primer in the master bedroom?

Chuck, the carpenter recommended by Tom,
fabricated and installed the custom chair rail
in the dining room  in one day!
The wallpaper and border arrived
from American Blind & Wallpaper today.

These boxes in the middle of the parlor floor contain the
KraftMaid cabinets for the galley kitchen.
They arrived without a hitch at 8:00 this morning!

Galley Kitchen Update:

    • Armstrong Solarian flooring will be installed on Monday.

    • Mark will install the cabinets next week. (Both Eric & Tom the painter were disappointed that I chose white cabinets. We're keeping the oak upper cabinets and I knew I could never match the patina -- sorry!)

    • Bob will create a template for the Corian countertop as soon as the cabinets are installed. Fabrication could take up to 10 days.
